DERREL E. CHAPPELL JOINS SYNCHRONET INTERMODAL SERVICES, INC. AS DIRECTOR, SALES, NORTH AMERICA DOMESTIC SERVICES
Virginia Beach, VA – January 17, 2013 – SynchroNet Intermodal Services, Inc. (SIS) (www.synchronetintermodal.com) today announced Mr. Derrel E. Chappell has joined SIS as the Director, Sales, North America Domestic Services. In his role, Derrel is responsible for developing and securing business from Intermodal Marketing Company (IMC) freight customers and other third party US-based freight customers. Derrel will focus on the marketing and sales of SIS’ stack-train service through the DoorLogistics™ and the ramp-to-ramp service offerings.

Immediately prior to joining SIS, Derrel was Director Wholesale Business Development with Schneider National, where he was responsible for the development of the sales and marketing strategy and supervised sales personnel for the newly created wholesale line of business. He was Vice President Business Development – Automotive / Mexico with Pacer Stacktrain and held a variety of positions with APL Stacktrain Services. While at Union Pacific Railroad/Missouri Pacific Railroad, Derrel grew through the organization in a number of management positions.
